Qualification overview and objective
The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace or prepare learners for further training in a similar subject area. The qualification covers understanding how to recognise and respond to substance misuse, solvents and volatile substance misuse and options and interventions for those affected by substance misuse.
Entry requirements
It is advised that learners have a minimum of level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
The qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16 and above.
