Qualification overview and objective
The objective of this qualification is to support roles in the workplace or prepare learners to take a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level.
This qualification is aimed at learners looking for an introductory level qualification in Substance Misuse. It is useful for learners working in a variety of sectors.
The qualification provides learners with an understanding of what substances are commonly misused and why, the social and personal effects of substance misuse and the perceptions and responses to substance misuse.
Entry requirements
It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 literacy/English.
The qualification is approved for delivery to learners age 14 and above.
